Operands

OperandDescription
S1The first operand.
Entries are WORD data registers or constants.

The signed value range is -32,768 ~ 32,767 (216).
The unsigned value range is 0 ~ 65,535 (216-1).
The Hexadecimal value range is H0000 ~ HFFFF.
S2The second operand.
Entries are WORD data registers or constants.

The signed value range is -32,768 ~ 32,767 (216).
The unsigned value range is 0 ~ 65,535 (216-1).
The Hexadecimal value range is H0000 ~ HFFFF.
DThe third operand.
Entries are only WORD data registers.
This is where the result of a logical S1 OR S2 is saved.

Notice

Error Flag (F11.0) Notice

The error flag, F11.0, will be ON for one scan when the address of the data register assigned by @D exceeds the range of the data register, D. The range of the data register, D, is dependent on the CPU type. F11.0 turns ON when the value of the data for a logical OR exceeds the data register assigned to S1 or S2.

Logical Operation

The WOR and WORP instructions perform a logical OR on each bit of S1 and S2.

Notice for MapleLogic WOR/WORP instruction.

Ladder Diagram Examples

WOR

The WOR instruction performs a logical OR on the WORD value, S1, and the WORD value, S2, and saves the result in an assigned WORD data register, D.

The WOR instruction performs a logical OR on the WORD value, S1, and the WORD value, S2, and saves the result in an assigned WORD data register, D.

When the contact, M0.2, is powered ON (1), a logical OR operation is performed on the WORD data registers, D15 and D17.

When the contact, M0.2, is powered ON (1), a logical OR operation is performed on the WORD data registers, D15 and D17. The result of the logical OR operation is saved in the WORD data register, D19.

WORP

The WORP one-shot instruction performs a logical OR on the WORD value, S1, and the WORD value, S2, and saves the result in an assigned WORD data regis

The WORP one-shot instruction performs a logical OR on the WORD value, S1, and the WORD value, S2, and saves the result in an assigned WORD data register, D. Every time this instruction energizes, it executes only once.

Ladder diagram Example

When the contact, M0.3, is powered ON (1), a logical OR operation is performed on the WORD data registers, D25 and D27.

When the contact, M0.3, is powered ON (1), a logical OR operation is performed on the WORD data registers, D25 and D27. The result of the logical OR operation is saved in the WORD data register, D29.
