The Product Key is embedded in the PC and activated by Maple Systems. If the OS needs to be reinstalled, it must come back to Maple Systems.

The Product Key is purchased by the end-user and is on a sticker attached to the PC. The end user must manually activate Windows® before use by entering the Product Key into the Activation page while connected to the internet.
