For the best cooling performance, its best to mount the PC so the heatsink fins vertical, allowing heat to rise naturally through the fins, with no obstacles.

We also recommend leaving adequate clearance around the heatsink, allowing air to circulate. Mounting the PC in a tightly enclosed space without additional ventilation can be detrimental to the lifespan of the PC. Do not mount directly above another heat generating device.
