Common Questions
A typical tower light has three to five colored segments. Each color should represent a distinct machine status (e.g., Red = Fault, Amber = Warning, Green = Running, Blue = Maintenance, White = Custom).
These lights have functionality for both. Generally a Steady light is used for normal operation (e.g., steady green). While a Flashing light is used to denote a higher urgency or specific state, such as a machine warning or emergency situation.
We have a variety of mounting options. They can be directly mounted to a control cabinet or chose a variety of bases that various length poles can be attached.
LED, LEDs provide higher brightness, lower power consumption, and a significantly longer lifespan than incandescent bulbs. They also perform better in high shock and vibration environments, making LED stack lights ideal for demanding manufacturing, automation, and machine status indication applications.
In loud production environments, a visual signal alone may not be enough. Operators may be away from the line, looking in another direction, or wearing hearing protection. In such cases, a Tower Stack Light With Buzzer can dramatically improve reaction times.
