Summary
This technical note will walk through the process of upgrading the CODESYS firmware on a cMT model HMI via the EBpro Utility Manager.
Solution
1.
First, download the cMT+CODESYS Firmware bin file from the Maple Systems website. This will be under the support tab, then software and upgrades.
Once downloaded, navigate to the EBpro utility manager. This will be located in the following file path in the file explorer: Local Disk (C:) > MapleSystems > EBpro > UtilityManagerEx

Next, open the Utility Manager and select the applicable model series.

Then select maintenance, then CODESYS Firmware Upgrade.

In the CODESYS Firmware Update popup window, enter the IP address of the HMI, then in the Firmware field, click the folder icon to locate and select the cMT+CODESYS Firmware bin file that was previously downloaded. Once selected, click the update button.
The HMI will reboot quickly and the CODESYS Firmware will now be updated.
