I replaced an HMI500 Series with a newer model and now it won’t communicate with the PLC.

The serial ports are configured differently on the current models than they were on the HMI500 Series.

In order to use the same communication cable as the HMI500 Series, insert a null-modem gender-changer (Part Number 2117-0910) on the HMI end of the cable for RS232. For RS485, insert a gender-changer only (Part Number 2117-0903).
