When looking for an outdoor rated HMI, many factors should be considered as outdoor rated can encompass a wide-range of certifications and hardware specifications. Many of our Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Industrial PCs, and HMI+PLCs are outdoor qualified.

Sunlight Readable: Our high-resolution, sunlight readable touchscreens feature 1000nits, making these displays easy to read in light-intensive environments. With a wide-viewing angle, our HMI and Industrial Panel PCs are suitable for multiple applications. Additionally, many of our touchscreens feature an optically bonded display that contributes to better heat dissipation in touchscreens.

Weather Resistant: Our NEMA 4, IP66 rated HMIs are protected against direct, high pressure water jets when properly mounted in a panel. We also have IP69K rated, Stainless Steel Industrial PCs that can withstand high-pressure and high-temperature jets.

Vibration and Shock Resistant: Rated 10 to 25 Hz, (X, Y, Z direction, 2G, 30 minutes).

Dust Resistance: Our NEMA 4, IP66 rated HMIs are dust tight when properly mounted, providing full protection against dust and other particulates.
