The TIME data type in MAPware-7000 IEC mode is used as input or output in timer operations. The format is a 32-bit unsigned integer register. Timers will interpret the value in these tags as a number of milliseconds. That is, if a TIME tag with a value of 1000 is used as the PT input of a TON timer instruction the timer will have a preset time of 1 second.
What does the TIME data type represent and how is it used?
