Summary
This document describes the process for enabling the “Technical Preview” feature in EBPro to use the “Import/Export” functionality of the Sparkplug B MQTT Server.
Note: The installation of EasyBuilder Pro must be v6.09.01.524 or higher.
Solution
1.
Navigate to the EBPro installation directory in File Explorer, which defaults to C:\MapleSystems\EBPro.
2.
Create a text file named “enable_technical_preview.txt” in the EBPro installation directory and open the file with Notepad or a similar text editor.
3.
Edit the file to add the line “enable_technical_preview” and save the file with UTF-8 encoding.
4.
Remove the .txt file extension from the file name.
5.
Restart EasyBuilder Pro.
