Summary
To update EBPro’s USB driver, connect to the HMI via its USB 2.0 mini port to a USB port on the PC. Open Device Manager and locate the HMI under USB devices. Select the correct driver files to update the host PC. The Device Manager will download and install the drivers, then prompt you to restart the PC to complete the update.
The purpose of updating the USB Driver is to enable Download/Upload of project files via USB Client Port.
Solution
1.
On your Host PC open the Device Manager utility application.
2.
Inside the Device Manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section.

Inside there should be a Weintek HMI device displayed.
3.
Double-Click the Weintek HMI device to enter its Properties dialog menu.
4.
Click the [Driver] Tab then click [Update Driver]
5.
Click “Browse my Computer for Drivers”

Click “Browse” then point it to the C:\MapleSystems\EBPro\USBDrivers location. Ensure that “Include subfolders” is enabled. Then Click “Next”.
6.
The drivers will automatically install themselves. Now you should have the ability to download/upload project files over USB cable.
