Summary
This document covers steps that can be taken to resolve display issues that may occur with the PC1200 and PC1300 Series Panel PCs. Please note that the specific instructions will vary depending on the PC model, as well as the size of screen that is being used.
Solution
1.
With the PC powered off, ensure that the monitor is connected to the PC.
2.
Press the power button to turn on the PC, and press ESC while the unit powers on in order to access the system BIOS.
3.
The BIOS menu will now be displayed. Select the Advanced tab from the menu to access the resolution settings from the following submenu:
a.
PC1200 Series: EFP (DP) to LVDS Configuration
b.
PC1300 Series: LVDS (eDP/DP) Configuration
4.
The correct resolution settings will depend on the size of the screen that is being used. Adjust settings to the following values according to the display size.
a.
10”, 12”, and 15” Displays
i.
LVDS Support: ENABLED
ii.
Panel Color Depth: 24-Bit VESA
iii.
LVDS Channel Type: DUAL
iv.
Panel Type: 1280 x 768
v.
LVDS Backlight level Control: LEVEL-8
b.
17” and 19” Displays
i.
LVDS Support: ENABLED
ii.
Panel Color Depth: 24-Bit VESA
iii.
LVDS Channel Type: DUAL
iv.
Panel Type: 1280 x 1024
v.
LVDS Backlight level Control: LEVEL-8
c.
15.6” and 21” Displays
i.
LVDS Support: Enabled
ii.
Panel Color Depth: 24-Bit VESA

LVDS Channel Type: DUAL

Panel Type: 1920 x 1080

5.
Select the Boot tab. If Windows Boot Manager is not Boot Option #1, select Boot Option 1 and make Windows Boot Manager the first boot option.
a.
Note: If Windows Boot Manager does not show up as a Boot Option, move to the Advanced Tab and Select CSM Configuration. Change the Boot Option Filter to [UEFI] and Legacy. Press F4 and save the settings. The unit will restart. Press ESC during the Boot sequence to access the BIOS once again. Return to the Boot Tab, and check that Boot Mode Select is set to [UEFI]; Windows Boot Manager should now be available as a Boot Option.
6.
Press F4 and save the new BIOS settings. The unit will exit the BIOS, restart, and Windows should now load and display properly.
