Sample Project Description

This project demonstrates the use of the universal serial driver (ASCII) to receive and transmit data in ASCII form to and from a slave device. The project also shows how to configure the serial parameters of the COM port on the HMC at runtime in order to match the parameters of the slave device. This project can be used together with the ASCII Serial Communication HMI sample project that can be run in an online simulation in EBPro without purchasing additional hardware.
