VLAN Passthrough is a network feature that allows VLAN-tagged traffic to pass through a device without altering or stripping the VLAN tags. When a device is configured for VLAN passthrough, it forwards the packets as they are ensuring the VLAN tags remain intact as the data travels across the network. This feature enables devices on the other side of the network to properly recognize and process VLAN traffic.

VLAN passthrough is commonly used in scenarios where network segmentation must be preserved, or no additional processing or changes to the VLAN tags are required.
