The leader in industrial automation and control solutions

Managing multiple HMIs can get out of control fast. The more you add, the more complex communicating between them becomes. Plus, loading the same project on to multiple HMIs one by one might take more time than you have to spare. Sometimes doing less can lead to more, and with Maple Systems’ cMT iV Series Display units, that’s truer than ever.

The cMT iV Series Display panels are capacitive touchscreen displays with built-in access to cMT Viewer, an application that enables viewing and controlling cMT devices from any screen connected to your network. Coming in 10-inch and 15.6-inch options, the Maple-powered displays become a centralized control point for access to any HMI in your network.

cMT Viewer enables access to all the important devices in a system from any screen with network access.

The cMT iV Series Display is a simple display monitor that makes accessing your systems’ cMT or cMT-X HMIs seamless. Instead of walking back and forth from the factory floor for simple adjustments, you simply remote into an HMI from your cMT display panel using cMT Viewer. Providing a single location for multi-point HMI access does more than save operators steps, though. It can simplify system setup, save money, and even improve security.

If you’re unable to install projects for a single automation application every time you need to set up a new HMI, the cMT iV Series Display is the perfect solution. The cMT iV Series Display’s remote access capabilities let you plug it into the network and quickly access the project using cMT Viewer.

Investing in cMT iV Series Displays for your control network makes the most of every dollar. In the long run, implementing these display units can dial down the complexity of managing large HMI networks. Now, you can quickly and easily create a central access point to the most important HMIs on a network.

cMT iV Series Displays come with cMT Viewer built in for quick and easy remote access to any other network-connected cMTs. Once you connect to a cMT device, you can control and monitor it just as if you were in front of it.

EasyAccess 2.0 is a Maple Systems software for setting up remote connections to your cMT or HMI devices while outside of a network’s area. With EasyAccess 2.0, your cMT iV Series Display gives you greater access to your system, letting you fix problems from practically anywhere in the world.

Connecting to your cMT iV Series Display is as easy as plugging it in and typing in the IP address. Once you cable it to your network, open the cMT Viewer application, add a new device, and type in its IP address to get connected.

Using cMT Viewer, a single cMT iV Series Display device can simultaneously connect to up to six cMT and cMT-X HMIs for full access to their projects. Additionally, up to 10 cMT iV Series Displays can connect to a single cMT HMI. cMT displays also have access to cMT Viewer’s monitor mode, which creates a view-only grid of up to 50 cMT and cMT-X HMI screens.

cMT iV Series Displays protect communication data using TLS encryption, which prevents data leaks during transmission. Additionally, the devices’ built-in control token safety mechanism allows for specific on-screen buttons to be locked, significantly reducing unauthorized interactions and enhancing safety.

The cMT iV Series Displays are built tough with NEMA4 certifications, making the units resilient in most weather-prone environments. The displays also feature IP66-rated front panels to resist dust and water. The 10-inch displays are ATEX certified for additional resistance against gas and dust.

Regularly breaking monitors and HMIs

Replacing and reprogramming broken monitors HMIs can be expensive, especially when considering manufacturing time lost. Instead of losing potentially hundreds each time a screen breaks, you can build systems using the cMT iV Series Displays in your factory. cMT iV Series Displays are affordable and reliable, easily enduring the hardships of the workplace. If they do somehow break, it’s fast and affordable to get back up and running.

Connecting to multiple HMIs from one spot

The cMT iV Series Display is a go-to choice for control scenarios requiring multiple HMI operation points. The cMT iV Series Display simplifies programming HMIs for the same scenario across your factory by letting you tap into already-programmed HMIs directly from the cMT iV Series Display using cMT Viewer. Since cMT iV Series Displays can also use EasyAccess 2.0, connecting to multiple HMIs is even possible from anywhere in the world.

Operating in rough weather and environments

Setting up control systems in hazardous or sterile environments can be complicated because of strict safety and compliance standards. Without the right equipment, operations risk downtime, damage, or serious safety issues. Backed by strong environmental certifications like NEMA4 and an IP66 rating, you can control your operations in bad weather by using the cMT iV Series Display with a headless unit placed in a safe location. Additionally, the more compact 10-inch display comes ATEX-certified for additional resistance against gas and combustible dusts.
