What is the Configuration Wizard?

The User-Interface Configuration Wizard on the Lite-Managed switches is a user-friendly feature that simplifies the switch configuration process in just three steps.

Step 1: Account – You can adjust the admin password and set the device name to personalize the switch settings.
Step 2: IP Address – You have the option to assign either a static IP address or use DHCP for automatic IP assignment. If static is selected, you can input the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway for proper network configuration.
Step 3: Access Mode – Choose between secure mode and normal mode. Secure mode enables data encryption via HTTPs, SSH, and SNMPv3. While normal mode allows the use of HTTP, Telnet, and SNMPv1/v2c for basic access.

This streamlined configuration process ensures that you can quickly and easily set up the switch for your network environment.
