Macro

A Macro is a single instruction that expands automatically into a set of instructions to perform a particular task.  Macro instructions are an advanced touch screen control method used in HMIs and strengthens the functions of the HMI so it has the same logic and arithmetic operations as a PLC. The use of macros enables the touch screen to implement functions that otherwise would not be supported, such as complex scaling operations and String handling.
