Direct Window Object

Tags:

The Direct Window Object is a graphical object that opens or closes a pop-up window assigned by a designated bit register on an HMI, or display. When the state of the bit register changes, the pop-up window appears at the predefined location. The display area for the pop-up window is limited by the size of predefined location. Returning the state of the bit register closes the pop-up window. The difference between Direct Window and Indirect Window is that Direct Window is controlled by a bit register, while Indirect Window is controlled by a word register.
