Can the Maple Systems HMI and cMT series use OAuth2 to access Microsoft Office 365 or Exchange as an email server for sending emails?

In September of 2019, Microsoft announced plans to support OAuth2 authentication and deprecate Basic Authentication across several services/products. These changes took effect for Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 mail servers in September of 2024.

As a result, it is currently no longer possible for the HMI and cMT series of devices to use these services to send emails. To send messages from an HMI or cMT series device, they should be configured to use an alternative email service.
