Can I view live video on my Maple Systems HMI?

Yes, live video can be viewed directly on select Advanced and cMT HMI products. Video input options are IP (Ethernet) cameras and USB cameras.

Video cannot be recorded, but still images may be captured from the live video. Images are captured via a bit trigger, making this feature ideal for capturing production or security events

Video from a USB camera connected to the HMI can be streamed and viewed in a web browser on a PC or mobile device.

Many HMI models support connecting a USB or IP camera to the HMI and viewing the video on the HMI screen. This is useful for monitoring a process or area of the manufacturing floor that is difficult to see from the operator’s position. Now you can log on to the HMI with a web browser via its IP address and stream the video from the USB or IP camera to a PC or mobile device. Simply enable web streaming on the HMI and enter the HMI’s IP address in your browser to view the video.
