Converting from your HMI5070P/HMI5070Pv2 is quick and easy, giving you several key hardware upgrades along with some software changes.

Software:

Below is a quick video showing you the easy process of converting your current HMI5070P/HMI5070Pv2 project to one that can be used in the cMT3072XHT. This process will need to be completed using EBPro version 6.07.02.226 or later.

There are some differences in how your new cMT project will be programmed compared to the old HMI model project.

  • Layered objects are not supported
  • General mode security is disabled
  • System keypads are built-in
  • Some objects have new, or different, settings

Converting a Basic/Advanced HMI Project to a cMT Series

Below you will find a table that shows the hardware differences between the HMI5070Pv2 and the cMT3072XHT. All other features will remain the same including resistive touch, CANopen support, and IP66 rating.
