I received a “PLC No Response” error message on my HMI.

If communications between the HMI and PLC are interrupted, a “PLC No Response” error message will appear on the HMI.

Possible reasons for this message could be that the communication cable may be wired incorrectly, the protocol settings in System Parameters do not match the PLC communications parameters, or the HMI is referencing a PLC address that is invalid or does not exist.

If these suggestions do not resolve your PLC No Response error, check the controller user manual for the default settings, contact the controller manufacturer for help in determining the communications parameters, or try different combinations of baud rate, data-bits, and parity.

If connecting through an Ethernet switch or router, try connecting the HMI directly to the PLC.
