When using a Maple Systems HMI, the project, recipe (RW, RW_A, db), data log, and event log files are stored in permanent HMI (flash) memory. There are several ways to clear data in flash memory.

- Open Utility Manager, select the HMI series being configured in the upper-left corner, click [Publish] and then click [Download]. Select [Ethernet] or [USB cable]. Select all of the check boxes at the bottom of the dialog to reset memory locations in the HMI.

- Open project in EBPro, click [Download] and then select [Ethernet] or [USB cable]. Select all of the check boxes at the bottom of the dialog to reset memory locations in the HMI.

- Press the button on the lower-right corner of the HMI screen, select System Settings, enter default password 111111 or user-defined password. Go to [History] tab and check [Clear Recipe], [Clear Event log], and [Clear Data Log] check boxes and then click [Clear]. When finished, click [OK].
- Use the following system registers to clear data on HMI: LB-9023: delete all event log files on HMI memory when ON; LB-9026: delete all data sampling files on HMI memory when ON; LB-9028: reset all recipe data when ON.
